Billy’s love of the land started early while growing up on a third generation cattle ranch in Northwestern Kansas before his family moved to Colorado. “All I ever wanted to be was a Cowboy. I feel extremely fortunate having grown up on a ranch and being exposed to the western values that have endured all my life.” A former professional skier and active in rodeo and ranching, Billy has an intimate knowledge of the west and the western lifestyle. Currently commuting between a farm on the Eastern Shore or Virginia and longtime residence in the Roaring Fork Valley near Aspen, he is enjoying sharing his love of Ranching and Skiing with his wife and three sons.
Billy brings a wealth of experience marketing exclusively farm and ranch properties and has developed a well-regarded reputation in the brokerage community over the last 33 years. He began his real estate career in Beverly Hills, as Director of Ranches for an entertainment based real estate firm where he was exposed to creative marketing techniques and became and early adapter to the internet. He later started Mason & Morse Ranch Company in Aspen, Colorado before co-founding Ranch Marketing Associates in 2004 which represented nearly $1 Billion in sales of exclusively ranch properties. Billy represents Buyers and Sellers primarily in the Western US through his network of Brokers.
